This collection of Illustrations turned gifs were made based on the concept of mapping the physical sensations of wonder in the human body. I approached it through a more graphic style that incoporates influences from Aboriginal art, Nazca lines, and Panamanian Molas, marking key identifiable sensations such as the widening of eyes, beating of the heart, goosebumps, and tingling sensations.  

Taking it even further, the piece incorporates scientific research based on how the body's heat signatures will change depending on the emotions being felt. Colder areas are blue and hotter areas are yellow with red being the median color. The brightness also determines the overall intensity of the sensation, overlap the color maps for feelings of happiness and surprise to mark the temperatures across the body.
